Here we are with only a few days left of February, and yet to write a review of our first year. When we started January 2018 we weren’t sure how things would go, how we would measure up. Last month we wanted to celebrate our first year in business by giving away one of our special custom backgrounds. We asked our Instagram followers to tell us about their dream surface, and were blown away by everyone's responses (we'll post our favorites at some point). Thank you all again for sharing and engaging! Do you still use Pinterest? We started using the social media app again for our photography after a shoot with our friends Chairs + Cups, and last week decided to start one here for Photo Surface ideas - styles, colors, textures, and a few props that might complement your backdrop. We find ourselves taking screenshots, walking by everyday scenes and objects, and flipping through books that inspire us everyday, and finally figured it's no use if we keep all this beauty to ourselves, floating in our Dropbox inspiration folder in the cloud somewhere. So here we are sharing our ideas with you all! Remembering to enjoy (and document) the process. It's fun looking back at all the beautiful messes we've made.
