Pretty In Pink: Making A Custom Surface
Last month we wanted to celebrate our first year in business by giving away one of our special custom backgrounds. We asked our Instagram followers to tell us about their dream surface, and were blown away by everyone's responses (we'll post our favorites at some point). Peruse Our Pinterest For Ideas
Do you still use Pinterest? We started using the social media app again for our photography after a shoot with our friends Chairs + Cups, and last week decided to start one here for Photo Surface ideas - styles, colors, textures, and a few props that might complement your backdrop. We find ourselves taking screenshots, walking by everyday scenes and objects, and flipping through books that inspire us everyday, and finally figured it's no use if we keep all this beauty to ourselves, floating in our Dropbox inspiration folder in the cloud somewhere. Where We Find Inspiration
It's that old stone wall you saw on your day trip to wine country, that metal table rusting in your neighbor’s backyard, that marble countertop you sat at during lunch. Even that telephone pole you passed on your evening walk to the library... Take a look at it again.
